Affiliate disclosure
This page explains how we earn money and what that means for our content.
How we earn
Kiddopicks is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com.
When you click an Amazon link on our site and complete a purchase within Amazon, we earn a small commission. The price you pay is the same whether you use our link or not.
Why this matters
Affiliate revenue funds our testing operations: purchasing products at retail, paying credentialed reviewers, and keeping the site free for parents. We accept no payment from manufacturers.
What we promise
- Affiliate compensation does not influence our safety recommendations. A product with a CPSC recall is marked Skip regardless of affiliate payout.
- No "sponsored" placement. We do not accept payment for favorable reviews, prominent placement, or any editorial influence.
- We disclose every link. Every affiliate link has \`rel="nofollow sponsored"\` as required by Google and the FTC.
- Prices change. We do not show fixed prices on Amazon; we use search URLs so you always land on the current Amazon listing.
FTC compliance
Per FTC Endorsement Guides 16 CFR Part 255, this site discloses its affiliate relationship clearly above the fold on every page. We disclose the relationship in our about page, methodology page, footer, and on every individual review.
