It does not convert to a booster, so once your child passes the 65 lb forward-facing harness limit, you will need to buy a separate high-back booster. Like every car seat sold in the United States, this seat carries a printed expiration date. Check the date stamp on your specific unit before first use and stop using the seat once that date passes. Plastics and harness webbing degrade over time, and an expired seat may not perform as researched.
