Taller adults may find themselves leaning slightly forward when the child is at full tether extension. The plush outer cover of the backpack body picks up grass stains, gravel dust, and general outdoor grime readily. After a day at a festival the bear looked noticeably grey. Hand washing brings it back, but it takes time to dry and the plush does not look quite as pristine after several washes.
Comparison with rivals
The Skip Hop Zoo harness has a slightly longer tether (around 150 cm), a more structured back panel, and a wider tether clip that some parents find easier to grip bare-handed. It costs more and the character range is different.
